Responsible AI in action guidance helps regulatory leaders make confident, informed choices about AI.
AI can do powerful work. It analyses at scale, drafts at speed, and surfaces patterns people might miss. But regulatory decisions still rely on human judgement, legal interpretation, and accountability.
To support regulators to navigate these choices, we created this guidance specifically designed for the regulatory context.
Version 1.1 of the guidance includes additional resources on Māori data and Māori data sovereignty (page 5) and the addition of Te Kāhui Raraunga for guidance on Māori data governance expectations (page 27).
