Our work
The Ministry for Regulation is the central steward of New Zealand’s Regulatory Management System. We work with other regulators across the public sector to improve the quality of regulation so all New Zealanders can flourish.
Regulatory stewardship
We provide system leadership, set standards for good regulatory practice, and support agencies with their regulatory stewardship responsibilities.
