Annual Report 2024-2025

The Ministry for Regulation has published its first Annual Report, covering the period from 1 March 2024 to 30 June 2025. The report outlines our achievements in removing unnecessary regulation, improving regulatory quality and building regulatory capability to deliver better outcomes for New Zealanders. It reflects our commitment to open, trusted, and people-focussed regulation.

Presented by the Minister for Regulation Hon David Seymour to the House of Representatives on 20 October 2025, pursuant to section 44 of the Public Finance Act 1989.
